Where wild chestnut honey meets wild imagination...

Discover ethically harvested Mel da Terra honey and the eco-conscious Leila’s Light children’s book series ~ all created with care, courage, and a love for nature.

The Mel da Terra logo reflects a life rooted in the mountains of central Portugal, where bees gather nectar from chestnut and walnut blossom. Simple and soulful, the design honours a seasonal way of working — small-batch, slow-crafted honey made in harmony with nature.
The Beekeeper Writer logo blends nature and creativity — a clean, symbolic mark that honours both the world of bees and the power of stories. It reflects a life lived slowly, with intention, in the hills of Portugal where honey is harvested and books are written.
The Leila’s Light logo captures the wonder and wisdom at the heart of the series — a symbol of inner light, nature, and the courage to see the world differently. Gentle yet bold, it reflects the spirit of a girl guided by love, truth, and imagination.

Supporting Our Work

The Beekeeper Writer website isn’t a business in the conventional sense.
It’s a living project, where words, honey, and handmade goods are created slowly, seasonally, and in harmony with nature.

Everything listed here is offered on a donation basis, and the amounts shown are simply suggested contributions to help us continue building and sharing this way of life.

If you’d like to support what we’re doing, we’ll be honoured to send you something in return, whether that’s a book, a jar of honey, or a small token from the land.
